VEOLIA EAU : Renovation of drinking water bevera plant (Vintimille – Italy)

Environment

In 2017,  VEOLIA EAU pumping station benefited from BOSSARD know-how for the renovation of its drinking water plant and optimization of its electric consumption.

CONTEXT

BEVERA water station (Vintimille – Italy) supplies drinking water to a number of municipalities including Monaco and Menton. In 2017, VEOLIA EAU, entrusted BOSSARD for the renovation of its water drinking plant and optimization of its electric consumption.

A double challenge :
– to meet the objective to optimize electrical consumption according to hourly prices and to measure its own consumption.

– to ensure the continuity of the service during the repair of the factory.

At the start of the call of tenders, BOSSARD was able to stand out by proposing procedures and stages of work respecting the 4 hourly rate of technical shutdown imposed by the owner.
Work on HV (High Voltage) and control system come within the scope and skills of BOSSARD and also its capacity to handle the project in terms of means, expertise and references, determined the choice of VEOLIA EAU.

MISSION

MISSION

Renovation of LA BEVERA station, in operation for more than 30 years, required the updating of its electrical equipment :

  • 12 HV cells (ABB)
  •  4 HV starters (ROCKWELL)
  • Complete power distribution and control system (SCHNEIDER M580 redundant)

Furthermore, the project necessitated the implementation of a triple communication system (wired, satellite, hertzian) with the surrounding factories.
