BOSSARD Group has a design department with 34 persons. Our engineers and technicians have an expert knowledge of all the software produced by the world leaders in automation and control-command.
Our design department operates on all the following services :
Analysis of customer’s needs
From project specifications, visit on site, phone call or emails, we carry out technical and functional needs.
Software and hardware architectures
We define network architectures (hardware and software) according to the requirements and needs of our customers. We define a list of inputs / outputs in order to define the PLC configuration.
Functional and organic analysis
We carry out the functional analysis of the process, of the machine and we structure the data for organic analysis.
Development and programing
From the PID, we create supervision’s synoptics and /or operator’s terminal (HMI).
Coding (API, DCS, SCADA, HMI)
From customer’s standards or according to our own standard, we develop and program the whole of applications.
Platform and on-site testing
Platform testing (FAT : Factory Acceptance Test) and on-site testing (SAT : Site Acceptance Test) : We carry out platform tests in our workshop and customer site.
Qualifications (OQ, PQ)
We control the basic functional adequacy by carrying out operational qualification and performance compliance by attending performance qualifications.
Optimization
We optimize the processes following the customer request.
Obsolescence management (Revamping)
We revamp the installations with new technologies (software and hardware modifications).
